Are you an Urgent Care Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner (APNP) looking to join a growing social enterprise with great benefits including the NHS pension and NHS car fleet scheme? Primary Care 24 (PC24) are excited to share the position of Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) within our Out of Hours Services.

Salary: £60,504 - £72,293 per annum (based on 37.5 hours) plus unsociable enhancements

Location: Wavertree Technology Park, Wavertree, Liverpool & Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Shifts: Friday: Wavertree Triage 18:30 to 23:00 (4.5 hours) Saturday: 09:00 to 14:00 (5 hours) and 14:00 to 18:00 (4 hours) Sunday: 09:00 to 13:00 (4 hours) and 14:00 to 19:00 (5 hours)


What will you be doing


  • Within your professional boundaries you will assess, diagnose and provide advice, care and management to patients presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via telephone consultations, or face to face assessments for patients requiring home visits.
  • Undertaking face to face and telephone triage consultations
  • Interpreting pathology / radiology results/reports
  • Prescribing and reviewing medication
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating an effective management plan for the patient

 

What do you need


  • You will be an experienced APNP who is able to deliver quality individualised care to our patients with a high level of autonomy underpinned by the four pillars of Clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
  • Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Non-Medical Prescriber – V300
  • Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
  • 6 months experience in Paediatric care  
  • You will have experience of working in the acute sector, urgent/emergency services environment, or out of hours services at a senior level
